Welcome to the home page for Suenaka Ha Tetsugaku Ho, Aikido of Atlanta.  This site contains information about Suenaka Ha Tetsugaku Ho Aikido currently being taught in Marietta, GA a suburb of Atlanta.  Marietta is located approximately 10 miles Northwest of Atlanta Georgia in the heart of Cobb County.  The class is hosted by the Marietta Martial Arts school and meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening.  Below is information concerning the particulars of the class.

Class: The class teaches Suenaka Ha tetsugaku Ho Aikido
Instructor: Shihan Scott Kelley, Yondan and certified instructor with Wadokai Aikido.
Your first visit: Please note that a requirement of the class is that you sit and watch at least one class before signing up.  This will make sure that you fully understand what it is that we do and give you the opportunity to ask questions.  This is for your safety as well as our protection.  If after watching a class you wish to practice with us, you will be asked to sign a waiver for insurance purposes and fill out some basic information and then you can start class.  Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Fees: Class Dues:
$40 / Month for two nights a week 

Wadokai Dues:  Our class is a member of the Wadokai (Organization of the peaceful way).  To join the Wadokai is $25 initiation fee and $45/Year to maintain that membership ($35 for membership and $10 for insurance).  Wadokai membership is necessary after the first month of practice.

Tuesday and Thursday EvTuesday and Thursday Evenings, Beginning at 7:45 pm and ending between 9:30 to 9:45 pm.

Order Sensei Suenaka's Book.  Complete Aikido : Aikido Kyohan : The Definitive Guide to the Way of Harmony (Tuttle Martial Arts).  This book details the history of the Wadokai and demonstrates the correct way to perform many of the practice exercises and techniques.  Never a replacement for actual instruction but a valuable supplement.
